| Adventurists Africa Rally
Team Deathwish We are two friends, one in Seattle, the other in San Diego. We are trying to raise a lot of money for worthy charities. For this contribution we will be undertaking a journey from London, England to Cameroon, Africa. We expect to take a non conventional route while making the most of the trip in what we will be deeming the "Deathtrap" which will have 4 wheels and not much more then that. We plan on making this trip quite interesting and hope to have you join us. Below is our personal donation button. Soon we will have our charity donation button up too. We are still in the process of picking which charities we will want to support in Africa.

Cameroon or Bust!

About 200km to Cameroon border and staying in a little town in Nigeria. My premonitions have been broken about here but the roads and weather make me loath it here. After Burkina we had b-lined it to Nigeria and managed two border crossings in one day. Togo is amazing and Benin was crap. The roads were horrible and once we got into Nigeria it was about 200km of crap trails to get to a decent road. Once we hit a decent road it was highspeed pothole dodging. Right now we are having car troubles with the starter going, the points are nill, our alternator is fizzing out and we get 80km/h speed wobbles from towing someone. Right now I am starting to dry and going to head out for food. Tomorrow we will tear into Cameroon, providing the weather holds. Our dune buggy doesnt like water.
